About The Study Program

The Tax Accounting Study Program of the Vocational School, Universitas Diponegoro is a vocational education program that focuses on developing competencies in accounting, taxation, auditing, capital markets, investment, and financial governance to meet the evolving needs of businesses, industries, and public sector organizations.

Amid digital economic transformation, rapid regulatory changes, and increasing demands for transparency and accountability, both public and private organizations require professionals who are capable of managing financial information, ensuring tax compliance, conducting audits, and supporting evidence-based decision-making through effective financial management and governance practices.

Through a practice-oriented curriculum, applied projects, and collaboration with industry partners, students are equipped with competencies in financial accounting, taxation, auditing, accounting information systems, public sector accounting, financial statement analysis, risk management, investment management, and capital market analysis.

As part of the Vocational Excellence initiative, the Tax Accounting Study Program integrates academic learning with professional experience through the Integrated Teaching Factory Ecosystem developed by the Vocational School of Universitas Diponegoro.

Students gain hands-on experience through the Vocational Tax Corner, which serves as a learning and practice platform in taxation, tax compliance, tax administration, tax planning, and tax education for businesses and communities. In addition, students strengthen their professional competencies through Core in Audit, a teaching factory that supports the development of expertise in auditing, assurance services, internal control, risk management, and corporate governance.

In the field of investment and capital markets, students are provided with experiential learning opportunities through the Capital Market and Investment Club, which facilitates learning in investment analysis, portfolio management, financial literacy, and data-driven financial decision-making. Meanwhile, the Accounting Community Club serves as a platform for enhancing accounting competencies through academic activities, professional training, applied research, competitions, and professional networking.

Through these teaching factories, students not only learn accounting and taxation practices but also develop a comprehensive understanding of how high-quality financial information supports organizational decision-making, strengthens accountability, enhances regulatory compliance, and creates value for stakeholders.

The Tax Accounting Study Program places Financial Accountability and Digital Tax Transformation as one of its strategic educational priorities. Students are encouraged to understand developments in financial technology, digital taxation systems, data analytics, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and emerging accounting standards and regulations relevant to modern organizations.

In addition to technical expertise, the program promotes Global Employability through the development of professional communication skills, digital literacy, foreign language proficiency, professional certifications, and participation in internationally oriented academic and professional activities. These competencies enable graduates to adapt and contribute effectively in various sectors, including multinational corporations, public accounting firms, tax consulting firms, financial institutions, government agencies, and international organizations.

As part of the UNDIP Vocational Excellence Ecosystem 2030, the Tax Accounting Study Program is committed to producing competent, professional, adaptive, and innovative graduates who contribute to financial governance, tax compliance, transparency, and sustainable economic development.

Guided by the spirit of “From Vocational Excellence to Global Recognition,” the Tax Accounting Study Program continues to support the vision of the Vocational School of Universitas Diponegoro toward becoming a World-Class Vocational School 2030, while strengthening financial accountability, good governance, and economic development at both national and global levels.
