UMKM Talks 2026: Adaptive Strategies for Navigating the Creative Industry Era

Semarang, May 9, 2026 – The Tax Accounting Study Program of the Vocational School, Universitas Diponegoro, through the Accounting Community Club (ACC), successfully held an UMKM Talks event titled “Navigating the Creative Industry Era”, held at the ICT Center (Undip Conference Hall), Tembalang.

The event featured an inspiring speaker, Mr. Anugrah Robby Pratama, S.Pt., M.Pt., who shared insights on strategies to navigate the development of the creative industry, particularly for MSME (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) players and the younger generation.

The event began at 12:30 PM with participant registration, followed by an opening session consisting of remarks from the Chief Organizer, Head of ACC, Advisor, Head of the Study Program, and a representative from the Faculty. The event was also attended by lecturers and students who enthusiastically participated throughout the entire program.

During the main session, the speaker emphasized the importance of adapting to ongoing changes, particularly in seizing opportunities within the creative industry sector. He highlighted that MSMEs must be able to innovate, leverage digital technology, and understand market trends in order to remain competitive in the global era.

The discussion session was highly interactive, with participants actively asking questions regarding current challenges and opportunities faced by MSMEs. In addition, the event was enlivened by a quiz session and prize distribution, further increasing participant engagement.

The Head of the Tax Accounting Study Program, Mr. Apip, S.E., M.Si, stated that through this event, students are expected not only to understand academic aspects but also to gain practical insights in supporting MSME development, especially in responding to the dynamic growth of the creative industry.
