Semarang, May 12 2026 – The Tax Accounting Study Program of the Vocational School, Universitas Diponegoro, through the Accounting Community Club (ACC), successfully organized the Econova Competition 2026. This event carried the theme “Economic Innovation for UMKM in Navigating the Creative Industry Era to Enhance Competitiveness and Sustainability.”
The competition was participated in by 42 participants from 10 universities across Indonesia, competing in two categories: Essay Competition and Poster Competition. The participants’ enthusiasm was evident through the innovative works presented, focusing on creative and sustainable solutions for the development of MSMEs in the creative industry era.
The series of activities in Econova Competition 2026 began with the registration and submission stage, followed by a selection process conducted by a panel of competent judges, and concluded with the final presentation stage. The entire event ran smoothly and received positive responses from both participants and the organizing committee.
In addition to being a competition, this event also served as a platform for students to develop critical thinking, creativity, and communication skills in presenting innovative ideas. Through this competition, participants were encouraged to contribute tangible solutions to support the growth of MSMEs in Indonesia.
Through the successful implementation of Econova Competition 2026, the Tax Accounting Study Program once again demonstrated its commitment to organizing activities that are not only academic in nature but also relevant to industry needs and current economic developments.
In the future, it is hoped that this event will continue to be held and become a platform that fosters outstanding innovations from Indonesia’s young generation.
